CLASS DESCRIPTIONS
Anusara - hatha yoga system that unifies the universal principals of alignment with celebration of the heart.
Vinyasa Flow: Vinyasa classes aim to cultivate energy (prana) awareness, attention to alignment within flow, a strong body and mind, and clarity of the divine light within.
Foundations: This practice is geared to start your day in the best possible way - gentle movement and focused breath work. Foundations will move through morning sun salutations followed by a series of standing, balancing, twisting and seated postures. We will also allow time for breath work, seated meditation and savasana. Foundations is perfect for beginning and advanced yogis alike as we all turn together to honor the root practices of yoga.
Intro to Yoga: Learn the basics as you experience the many benefits of yoga's diversity (standing poses, balancing poses, back bends, forward bends, and twists), pranayama (breath work), Yoga Nidra (deep relaxation), meditation and some simple philosophy.
Gentle Yoga: A slower paced exploration of movement, alignment and breath to safely open joints, relieve common aches and pains, build muscular tone, quiet the mind and open to the heart to promote health and well-being. Gentle yoga is perfect for all bodies and all ages including seniors, people with physical challenges, cancer patients and survivors, or anyone needing to slow down and reconnect.
Restore & Renew: Resorative Yoga is a gentle sequesnce of postures modified to fully support the body using blankets, bolsters, straps and foam blacks. This is the yoga of stillness-in-being rather than of action-in-doing. Each class offers a select few yoga poses held from only a few rminutes to 20 minutes in length allowing your body to find the deep relief, release & total relaxation that each unique restorative pose offers. Every student has the choice of working with a selection of semi-precious stones or crystals to embrace during the class to further explore and align themselves for a truly transformative session as each stone matches the vibration of specific energy centers in your body, known as the chakra system.

LEVELS
Beginner classes provide a safe environment for new students to learn the basic yoga postures. The classes are moderately paced and instructive.
Intermediate classes are for students who are ready for a more vigorous class. This class picks up the pace from beginner classes and postures may be taught with more challenging variations. These classes will take your practice to the next level!
Intermediate/Advanced classes build heat and stamina with challenging and creative sequences. Previous yoga experience is required.
Mixed Level classes are open to beginner through advanced students and offer modifications and variations so that each student can enjoy practicing at their own pace.
